Everyone is capable of living a life that feels meaningful

Sometimes because of losses, traumas, predispositions to depression or anxiety, or maladaptive patterns of thinking, a joyful and purposeful life can seem like a distant possibility. Through talk therapy and psychopharmacology, I work with individuals not only to recover but to thrive.

I believe strongly in an integrative and holistic approach to psychiatry

I graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree, and completed a residency in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School-Cambridge Health Alliance. I have completed two postgraduate year-long fellowships in global mental health and consultation liaison psychiatry. I have expertise working across cultural contexts, with people with complex medical problems, and in reproductive psychiatry. I have extensive psychotherapy training and work with individuals, couples, and families.

I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a licensed psychiatrist in California, Massachusetts and Maryland. I completed the MDMA- Assisted Therapy Program with the MAPS Public Benefit Corporation in 2020.

Believing strongly in an integrative and holistic approach to psychiatry, I completed a 200-hour Ashtanga yoga teacher training and plan to integrate this ancient healing approach into mental health treatment.

I love to hike, travel, practice yoga, learn about alternative healing modalities, and rest.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.  Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy and medication management services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy and medication management services.  You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
